For Cognitive Assessments a referral is required from a health or education professional, using the following form, or the referrer can contact us directly. The Clinic also collaborates with FOCUS Pittsburgh to provide psychotherapy through its free health center for low income, uninsured, African-American residents of the Hill District. The mission of the Counseling and School Psychology Clinic is to improve educational, social, emotional, and behavioral functioning and interactions of individuals, families, groups and counseling/therapy, consultation, and education. For cognitive assessments a referral is required from a health or education professional. The Faculty/Psychologists in the Psychology Center embrace an integrated care model that promotes collaboration with the client and other health professionals who are involved in the client's care. Due to COVID-19 the University Psychology Clinic will not be providing face-to-face group programs for the remainder of 2020. However we can offer individual Cool Kids and Cool Little Kids intervention to families via telehealth. Conscious Culture Psychology Clinic currently has a waitlist for new clients. Our clinic hours are Monday through Friday, 9:00am to 5:00pm. Please note that appointments may not be available at all times due to therapist schedules and client demand.
