Quick Teriyaki Shrimp And Rice

extra virgin olive oil
1 large onion, chopped
1 clove garlic, crushed
1 cup cooked rice
3/4 pound shrimp, peeled and deveined
teriyaki sauce to taste


Heat a large skillet over medium heat. Add oil to just cover the bottom.

Add the onion and garlic and cook, stirring frequently, until the onion is soft, about 5 minutes.

Add the rice and shrimp. Cook for about 5 minutes, stirring occasionally, or until the shrimp is cooked through.

Stir in teriyaki sauce as desired. Serve hot.
